Growth isn’t age-limited. Comfort zones are.

My WHY
My WHY!

With this being my birthday month—and being close to 60—I’ve been sitting with that number a lot.

Sixty years old, y’all.

Growing up, 60 sounded like “grandparent age”… old. And here I am, an Oma myself. And yes, my grandchildren probably think I’m old too. LOL.

But this is my why.

This is why I work so hard to stay mobile. Why I choose to stay active. Why I keep showing up for my health.

Because of my grandchildren.

I want to sit on the floor with them. I want to run, walk, skip, swim, laugh, and play right alongside them. Whatever their little feet want to do, I want to be there for it.

And I know this season will not last forever.

One day, their lives will become full—just like our children’s lives did. That’s the cycle of life, and it’s beautiful. But today, I have today. Today I get to make memories with them—and for them. Memories they can carry into their own seasons of growth, purpose, and life.

My hope is that my grandchildren see this:

No matter my age, I chose to grow. I chose to be stretched. I chose to walk in the purpose God placed on my life. I didn’t choose the easy way just because it was comfortable.

I want them to look back and think, “Oma did it… and she was old.” LOL.

God’s plan for us is never to sit on the sidelines, no matter what season we are walking through. Some days the walk feels easy. Other days, it may feel like an army crawl. But you moved. You showed up.

And someone is always watching—especially the little eyes.

So if you’re wondering if you can start again because of your age, your fear, your past, your doubt, or any reason you’ve told yourself you can’t…

Shut that down.

You can. You should. And there is no better time than today.

Failure isn’t fatal. Success isn’t final. It’s about growing, experiencing, learning, and showing up for yourself.

Don’t wait for someone else to bring you joy. Find your why. Find your joy. Build your life with intention.

Growth isn’t age-limited. Comfort zones are.

Aging doesn’t mean you’re running out of time. It means you finally understand how precious time is.

And that is where your power lives.

You are not done. You are not disappearing. Your story is not complete.

You are simply turning the page.

So let’s get to writing it.

If you’re ready to take the next step toward your why, I’d love to partner with you.
